Loving God with our minds is the first commandment because we have to know truth and love it before we can send anyone else in that direction.

The Bible teaches us to fear God, which means nothing less than caring more about what God thinks than what people think.

The goal is for each of us to be healing agents who instinctively bind up the wounded, encourage those who are beaten down and restore those who have fallen.

How do we love God today? By treating someone well when he or she “appears” to be of no immediate value to us.
